Vauxhall/Opel released their versions of the highly successful third generation (X82) Renault Trafic medium sized van for the United Kingdom and mainland Europe. Unlike other rebadged versions, Vauxhall/Opel Vivaro second generation versions were manufactured at GM manufacturing site in the UK.
The Vauxhall/Opel Vivaro second generation went out of production in 2018, when Opel/Vauxhall was acquired by Groupe PSA, now known as Stellantis following the merger of Group PSA and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
In 2019, a brand-new version of the Vauxhall/Opel Vivaro (third generation) was released. This latest version of the Vivaro is built on the very successful K0 platform that also underpins the Citroen Dispatch/Jumpy, Fiat Scudo, Peugeot Expert, and Toyota Proace.
